• GUMTREAD™ – We chose recycled rubber as the base material for our innovative soles with a dual purpose: flexibility and durability. Recycled rubber offers a tire-like tread that provides traction to keep you going, whether you're walking the yard in slippers or taking over the world in flip-flops.
• WE PROTECT FORESTS – For every Gumbies purchase, a mangrove tree is planted in Mozambique, Magadascar or Kenya. Mangrove trees are particularly enriching for the environment due to their carbon storage 4 times as much as other trees.
• RECYCLED TEXTILES – Our selection of canvas belts made from recycled cotton fibers reduces the need to overgrow cotton, which can be water inefficient.
